Each hide responds differently during tanning.
Variation in tone, texture and stiffness is part of the process.

The material retains its density and structure.

With use, the leather softens and darkens.
A natural patina develops over time.

These changes are part of the material and are not considered defects.

Hardware is selected for strength and load-bearing capacity.
Only materials with long-term durability are used.

Materials are chosen to age, not to be replaced.
